IT Impress Food Delivery

The full order cycle, from browsing to delivery

This is a fictional demo. Everything below is simulated in your browser. Use the tabs to play each stage by hand, or press the button to watch one order go through all stages.

Where each stage happens

1. Browse and build a cart

The customer searches restaurants, filters by cuisine and opening hours, picks dishes with add-ons and cooking instructions.

2. Server-priced quote

Prices, fees, discount and tip are calculated from the catalogue, never typed in by the customer: subtotal, delivery fee, service fee, discount and total appear as an itemised quote before checkout.

3. Checkout and payment

The customer chooses card, cash or wallet and confirms. Paying by card never stores card data in the browser - the demo simply marks the order paid.

4. Restaurant accepts and prepares

The restaurant sees the incoming order, accepts or declines it, marks it preparing, then ready for pickup.

5. Driver pickup and delivery

A driver is assigned, collects the order, and delivers it.

6. Tracking and receipt

The customer watches every state change on a live timeline and gets an itemised receipt with a rating prompt.
